Your Voice Matters – See the Impact You’re Making!

Mahalo for helping us stand for faith, family, and freedom in Hawaii! Earlier this summer, we asked for your feedback on how Hawaii Family Forum is serving you — and wow, you delivered! Feedback was a decent amount for non-profit surveys, so we are able to thoroughly review the responses to plan our future efforts in Hawaii more effectively!

For those of you who are interested, here’s what you told us:

1. You’re Staying Informed

Nearly everyone reads our legislative updates and newsletters regularly.

Most of you find them very useful in understanding what’s happening at the Capitol.

2. You’re Taking Action

A strong majority took action after receiving an alert — from contacting legislators to sharing information with friends, family, and church members.

Your voices are making a difference in protecting life, religious freedom, and family values.

3. You Value Clear, Faith-Based Resources

The most helpful tools for you? Legislative updates, action alerts, and educational workshops.

Many of you also want more practical “how-to” guides to help you engage confidently.

4. Your Top Priorities for the Future

  • Protecting the sanctity of human life
  • Preserving religious freedom
  • Strengthening families and parental rights

5. Encouragement that Fuels Us

Your words inspire us to keep going:

What’s Next?

Because of your feedback, we’ll continue focusing on these priorities and expanding resources to make it even easier for you to take action next session. Mahalo for standing with us in the spirit of aloha! Together, we are shaping a better future for Hawaii’s keiki and ohana.

Survey Sample Validity

With 144 responses from a list of approximately 3,500 contacts, our survey achieved a response rate of about 4.1%. For voluntary, email‑based surveys without incentives, this is within the typical range of 2–5% seen in similar advocacy and nonprofit contexts. Statistically, this sample size yields a margin of error of approximately ±8% at a 95% confidence level, meaning the results provide a reasonably accurate reflection of trends and sentiments among our engaged supporters. While the feedback is highly relevant and actionable, it should be understood as most representative of our active and engaged segment rather than our entire contact list.
